Canine Vaccine/Test Protocols
We have created a new Vaccine/Test Protocol that we believe is the safest and most effective. Our staff will help you in deciding which vaccinations and tests are needed at each visit. By accessing past vaccination history and current lifestyle we can develop an effective vaccination schedule for each pet.

If puppy starts series later than 9-11 weeks of age than they will get a series of 3 DHPP shots with the last shot including Lepto
Doberman, Rottweilers, and other purebred puppies should be vaccinated with Parvo vaccination up until 22 weeks of age.
Fecal tests should be run on all puppies at least once.
Dogs: All dogs need to vaccinated for Parvo yearly after their puppy shots and have a Fecal test done yearly.
Strictly outdoor dogs or dogs that will be around other dogs very often should be vaccinated yearly for DHPP.
Dogs on Heartworm preventative that have not missed any doses or havent vomited up a dose or vomited up a dose but was redosed do not need a heartworm test yearly.
Dogs who have missed monthly doses of heartworm preventative need to be tested for heartworms that year and/or yearly after that if they keep missing monthly doses during the year.
Lymes disease vaccination is a 2 shot series 3 weeks apart when 1st given, then yearly.
Bordatella vaccine- 1st time is an intranasal vaccination and then an injectible given yearly, however if a dog is boarding right away then the inranasal vaccine is given because it gives the dog quicker immunity.
