Dr. Love grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She attended college at LSU, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology in 1995, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1999. During her college years, she volunteered in field zoology and developed interests in surgery, exotic animals, and wildlife. After graduating from LSU, Dr. Love moved to Orlando and became co-owner of a veterinary hospital there. In 2008, she came to the Clearwater area and soon joined the team of All Pet Care Hospital.

In her spare time, Dr. Love very much enjoys spending time with her family. She also has a love for adventure and travel, and has traveled extensively in the U.S., Mexico, Ecuador, Costa Rica, South Africa, Zambia, Italy, and Australia.
